Photography Contract
* Payments, Cancellations & Refunds (Section 1)
Bookings under £200 are to be paid in full to confirm date & time.
Bookings over £200 can be paid in full or a 50% non refundable deposit to be paid, final payment must be made 48 hours prior to set booking date.
All payments are non-refundable. To reschedule we require at least 48 hours notice or you will be unable to change the date/time of your booking. If you then cancel you will not be refunded.
Cancellations will NOT be refunded.
Refunds will not be issued due to COVID-19, all clients will have the option to reschedule. There is no charge to do this or limits to the amount of times.
* Punctuality (Section 2)
The person booking the studio is expected to be present on time; we cannot allow your team into the studio without the person/s responsible for booking being present.
Lateness of more than 30 minutes with no prior warning off lateness will be considered as no show and your booking will be automatically cancelled with NO REFUND or RESCHEDULING.
By notifying us that you will be late will not postpone your hire start time. Your session will start and end at the time booked. Any additional time is considered as overtime (see section 5).
Hair & Makeup time should be requested & booked in advance, if hair/makeup or time spent getting ready runs over into time booked for photography and you require extra time if will class as overtime (see section 5).
* Capacity (Section 3)
CAPACITY: - Capacity means this includes everyone who is apart of your team (including Photographer, Hair & Makeup, Models etc.).
Due to health and safety regulations any additional people turning up will be asked to leave the premises immediately or your booking will be terminated with immediate affect with NO REFUND OR RESCHEDULING.
Please do not request extra capacity.
THE LOUNGE COVE: CAPACITY: 8
No scheduled arrivals permitted.
No children or additional people who are not 100% necessary to your shoot.
* Pets & Animals (Section 4)
No dogs or pets allowed. Please discuss with a member of our team prior to making any bookings if you require any kind of animal on your photo/video-shoot session. Provisions have to be made prior if you arrive on the day with any animals without consent the animal will not be allowed within the space OR your booking may be terminated with immediate effect with no refunds or rescheduling.
* Overtime & Damages (Section 5)
The client must include set up and take down time within the hours booked, to avoid overtime charges.
Photography + studio hire overtime is charged at £126 per hour. This does not include any additional retouched images. It may not always be possible to go overtime due to other bookings but when available payment is expected upfront. If client requires overtime it must be requested at least 15 minuets before the end of your session.Please do not crease or rip backdrops. We expect backdrop rolls to be in a reusable condition at the end of end of each session, if soiled you will incur a £15.00 per meter charge on backdrops. Payment is to be made via Credit / Debit Card on the day by our online payment terminal.
If the cove is left dirty and unusable for the next clients there will be a £80 repaint fee.
The client hiring the studio is responsible for all breakages or damages caused to the studio or equipment by him/her, or any other person during the use of the studio. The Lounge Studio supplies services and equipment entirely at the risk of the client. The client shall pay any costs/fines if there are any breakages or damages.
* Eating, Drinking & Smoking (Section 6)
We do allow eating and drinking however under no circumstances should any food or beverages be on the backdrops or on the cove space.
NO Alcohol beverages or drugs (included cannabis) are to be consumed within the studio or premises including the outside smoking area. Failure to comply will be an immediate termination of your hire session with NO refund OR rescheduling.
No smoking within the studios or building, please use the designated, sheltered outside smoking area.
* Professional Conduct (Section 7)
Only take pictures/videos within the studio space booked. This includes Behind the scenes footage and selfies.
The area outside the studios (sofa / kitchen space) is not for client use.
Please keep noise levels respectable and be considerate to neighbors and adjoining businesses. Do not interrupt surrounding businesses by knocking on their door or entering their space.
Once your session is finished please leave the premises. Do not shoot or wait in any communal spaces (this includes the upstairs & downstairs space, outside smoking area.
ANY disrespect, rudeness or intimidating/threatening behavior to staff or anyone within the warehouse facility will result in your booking being automatically terminated with immediate affect with no refund or rescheduling. The person responsible will be unable to book again with us. Failure to leave the premises immediately will result in further action being taken and the police being called.
* Sending & Saving Images (Section 8)
The Lounge Studio will deliver all unedited JPEG images 1-3 days post photography shoot via WeTransfer.
All files are sent via Wetransfer; the client is expected to download and save ALL files, as they will automatically be deleted after 7 days.
We do not store any photographic files long term, we only keep JPEG/RAW files for 2 weeks after the shoot date. It is advised that all images are saved to a memory card, hard drive or USB.
RAW files will not be sent.
Retouching, Additional retouching prices + Turnaround times (Section 9)
Client has 1 week to select images for retouching.
* Retouching guideline turnaround times:
1-3 images: up to 5 days
3-6 images: up to 1 week
6-12 images: up to 2 weeks
12+ images: up to 3 weeks
(These are a rough guideline, retouching will begin from the next day from when images have been selected by client)
Additional retouching: £10-15 per image
* Copyright (Section 9)
The Lounge Studio (Photographer) retains full copyright to all photographs taken during the photography shoot.
* Coverage (Section 10)
Photographer does not do videography or cover behind the scenes footage.
Photographer is not responsible for sourcing models, makeup artists or hair stylists etc.
Client booking is solely responsible for the success of the photography shoot. The Lounge Studio (Photographer) will in no case be liable for compromised coverage due to poorly applied makeup & hair styling, bad choice of models, resources or participation.
* Final agreement (Section 11)
By booking with us means you agree to all terms and conditions. If any of our Terms and Conditions are broken your session will be terminated with immediate affect with NO refund OR rescheduling.
